Often seen braving the chilly waters of Britain, this hardy bunch are undeterred by weather or temperature as they enter the water with nervous enthusiasm. It is these very ladies who are the inspiration for my collection of soft sculptures.
Each wild swimmer is handmade, so no two are identical. Who you see in the listing is who you receive as they are made in batches and ready to post.
Made from calico and felt, and stuffed with fibrefill, they are individually handpainted using acrylic paint. 
The wave which encompasses them can be removed if desired as it is not permanently attached, however the wave adds to the aesthetic and is part of the overall design.
They are ornamental soft sculptures, not a toy.
