This painting series uses heavily diluted acrylics to convey the subtle changes in light and colour. 
Allowing the water to move across the canvas to form shapes and layers, the process is a mindful practice, with each layer needing to dry fully before the next can be added.
They are inspired by my daily walks on Anglesey,  looking across the Menai Strait to the often hazy landscapes in the distance, specifically the Carneddau and Snowdonia mountain ranges. They are not intended to be literal accurate landscapes, but more a response to my surroundings.
